What I do

I don’t do anything half way and I am a highly competitive person. That competitive nature is why I was signing up for additional certification classes before I even had my license. (I’ve already earned certificates in Luxury Homes and Negotiation.)

I won’t hire third parties to do virtual tours or rely on AI to write my copy. I believe that you know your home better than anyone, and I want you to share its story with me so I can know it second best and ensure that I am representing it and you in a way that gives you peace of mind during the buying /selling process.

I might be new to being licensed, but I’m not new to the business—and I’m certainly not new to Siskiyou County. I know this area. I understand it. I understand the value of the homes here and, perhaps most importantly, if I don’t have an answer, I have a resource sitting next to me who has 40+ years of answers and a pretty solid guarantee that she’ll always take my calls.

Personal

I am a legacy kid. My mom founded Heritage when I was seven, and as such, I’ve grown up around this business. I watched cartoons in the back room of our first building at 1263 S. Main Street, practiced math on the office whiteboards, did homework at various desks, and busied myself by rolling around in the agents’ desk chairs. I’d listen to my mom making deals and talking property on vacations, at home, and on weekends. I learned more than I realized—until I took the state real estate exam for my own license.

I grew up on these streets. I watched the North View Estates subdivision go in, attended Gold Street School before it closed (then it reopened), then Jackson Street School, and later Yreka High School. I grew up attending open houses with my mom and watching—equal parts horrified and amused—when she’d spot a “For Sale” sign and jump out of the car to see if the home was vacant by peeking in the windows. (She still does this, even on vacations.)

Working with my mom was never something I thought I’d be doing but at least now she’s not alone as she goes running up to houses. (Or if she is she’ll have an alibi and a get away driver.)
